Surrounded by giants. This Earth Day, let's remember the importance of trees and the joy of exploring nature with our dogs. Dive into Mojo's Manifesto for a Greener Planet!

Hey Pack, Mojo here.

If you’re like me, your favorite place in the world is right at the edge of the woods. I’m talking about that spot where the pavement ends and the real smells begin. There's something about the way the sun hits the Jack Pines and the way the creek sounds after a spring rain that just makes my tail go at 100 miles per hour.

Earth Day is coming up on Wednesday, April 22, but in my Den, we don't just sniff the flowers once a year. We’re out there every day. I’ve made it my mission to make sure that as long as I’m running this store, we’re leaving the trail better than we found it for the next pup in line.

3 Ways to Be a "Good Human" This Earth Week

Before we talk about the big stuff, here’s how you and your favorite four-legged friend can make a difference right now:

  1. Clear the Path: While your dog is busy sniffing every single blade of grass, take a look around. Picking up a stray piece of trash or moving a fallen limb off the trail makes the woods safer and more beautiful for everyone.

  2. Choose Quality Over Quantity: I’m a dog of simple tastes, but I like my gear to last. Buying things that are built to stay strong means less stuff ends up in the landfill. My mugs are coated to stay bright through a thousand morning rituals—because a "forever" mug is a green mug.

  3. Support the Roots: Every time you support a business that gives back to the land, you’re planting a seed for the future.

Mojo’s Guide to Being a Good Human

Do:

  • Follow the "Sticks for Sticks" rule. If you clear a branch off the path, you’re basically a hero in my book.
  • Invest in gear that lasts. One high-quality "Modern Sketch" mug that stays in your cabinet for years is way better for the woods than a pile of cheap ones that break.

DON'T:

  • Leave those little plastic "unmentionable" bags on the side of the trail. I know you think you’ll pick it up on the way back, but the squirrels told me you usually forget. Pack it out!
  • Forget that every sip of coffee can be a "Nose Boop." Choosing the Good Boy Blend means you’re doing two good things before you’ve even put on your shoes.

The Big Mission: More Trees = More Sticks

If you’ve been hanging around my porch for a while, you know the rule of the Den: One Product Sold = One Tree Planted. It’s the simplest math I know. Whether you’re ordering a custom Taurus mug or a personalized sketch of your best friend’s handsome face, you are putting a tree back into the ground.

Now, I’m a dog, not a guy with a shovel—I leave the actual planting to the experts who know which way is up. But I make sure every single tree finds its home. To keep the Den honest, I’ve partnered with the folks at GoodAPI.

They verify our mission in two big ways:

  • Monthly Certifications: They provide official monthly reports that certify exactly how many trees our store has planted. It’s the proof that our "More Trees = More Sticks" logic is the real deal.

  • Your Personal Impact Portal: This is the best part. When you support the Den, you get your own unique portal. It shows you the personal impact you have made, complete with maps and tracking so you can see exactly where your roots are growing.

We’re not just making art; we’re making sure the future has plenty of shade and plenty of sticks. You can see how many sticks we’ve created so far on our Mission.

The Main Event: The Good Boy Blend

This Earth Week, I’m finally sharing my most prized treasure: the Good Boy Blend.

I’ve watched my humans wake up and reach for their coffee every morning before we hit the trail. It’s their ritual. So, I decided that ritual should do some serious good. The Good Boy Blend is a roast that’s as bold and dependable as a Golden Retriever. It’s the fuel for your sunrise walks and the cozy "settle down" after a long hike.

But this isn't just a bag of beans. It’s a Double-Mission in a bag:

  • The Tree Part: Just like everything else in the Den, every bag of Good Boy Blend plants a tree. That’s more shade and more sticks for the future.

  • The "Buck a Boop" Part: I care about my fellow pups as much as I care about the forest. For every bag of this coffee you buy, I’m donating $1.00 directly to local dog rescues. While the trees make the woods better, the "Buck a Boop" makes life better for dogs waiting for their forever families. We’re starting close to home, and I can’t wait to show you the pups we’re helping.

The Trail Notes

In case you were distracted by a passing bird, here is the quick version of what’s happening in the Den this Earth Week:

One Product = One Tree: We partner with GoodAPI to verify our tree planting so you know it’s real.

More Trees = More Sticks: That’s my personal environmental philosophy. It’s simple math.

The Good Boy Blend Launch: Our new roast drops for Earth Week. It’s bold, it’s smooth, and it’s the only coffee with a "Double-Mission."

The Buck a Boop: For every bag of coffee sold, $1.00 goes straight to local dog rescues.

Personalization is Key: You can still get your dog’s handsome face on our 11oz Taurus and Scorpio mugs—they’re Orca-coated and trail-ready.

The Soundtrack to the Settle Down ☕️🌲

Every mission needs a rhythm. We curated The Green Room to be the official soundtrack for your Earth Week ritual. From the soulful grooves of Marvin Gaye to the earthy, sun-drenched vibes of 70s folk, these are the anthems that keep us grounded in the Den. Press play, pour a fresh cup of Good Boy Blend, and let the music remind you why we’re working so hard to leave the trail better than we found it.

The Deep Sniff: Details from the Den

Does my coffee purchase really help other dogs?

You bet your tail it does. While every product in the Den plants a tree, I wanted the Good Boy Blend to do a little extra. That $1.00 per bag donation goes to local rescues to help my friends find their forever trails.

Where do the trees actually go?

We partner with reforestation experts to plant Jack Pines in areas that need them most. We choose Jack Pines because they are "Pioneer" trees—they’re hardy, they grow fast, and most importantly, they make excellent sticks for future generations.

Can I put any dog on the Zodiac mugs?

Absolutely. Whether your dog is a purebred or a "Special Edition" mystery mix, we take their photo and turn it into modern line art. Just because it's a Taurus or Scorpio mug doesn't mean the dog has to be—it's all about celebrating your best friend.

Earth Day is about the bond we share with this big, beautiful planet. I’m just a dog with a dream of a greener woods and a fuller bowl for every pup.

Grab a bag of the Good Boy Blend, plant a tree with me, and let’s keep the trail open for everyone.
