🌲 The 2026 Mission: The "Jack Pine" Project

Location: Northern Michigan, USA Target: The Kirtland's Warbler

For 2026, we are bringing our mission home to the USA to support one of the biggest conservation success stories in history. We are planting Jack Pine trees in Northern Michigan to save a tiny bird with a big personality: the Kirtland’s Warbler.

The Story

This bird is extremely picky. It will only nest on the ground under the protective, low branches of young Jack Pine trees (specifically forests that are 5–20 years old).

In the past, natural wildfires created these young forests. But because humans suppress fires, the forests got too old, and the birds had nowhere to live. They almost went extinct—dropping to less than 200 pairs!

How We Help

By planting new Jack Pine seedlings, we are manually building the nurseries these birds need to survive.

• The Benefit: Creates the only specific habitat where these birds can raise their young.
• The Motto: We plant the trees, the Warblers make the home.

We started globally, but our heart is local. The Kirtland's Warbler is the ultimate "underdog"—a species that needed a helping hand to come back from the brink.

As a brand dedicated to shelter dogs and second chances, this felt like the perfect match. We are proud to plant trees that you can visit, right here in our own backyard.

🌍 The 2025 Legacy: Madagascar Mangroves

Status: Mission Accomplished ✅ Total Planted: 125 Trees

In our founding year, the Doggo Mojo pack came together to restore coastal ecosystems in Madagascar. Together, we planted 125 Mangrove trees.

While we have shifted our focus to Michigan for 2026, this "Legacy Forest" continues to do good work every single day:

• Stabilizing Coastlines: Protecting the land from erosion.
• Filtering Water: Keeping the ocean clean.
• Absorbing Carbon: Mangroves are some of the most efficient carbon scrubbers on earth.
